Alex & Kathleen

Seas, mountains, and political climates: that's the gap extant between us and our friends as we move to England. Sure, we're going to our commonwealth's motherland for an experience not too culturally different from our own, but the prospective distance between us and our familiar loved ones evokes a premature longing for home. We thought, "Why not bridge it with a little bit of personal news, updates, theological musings, and prayer requests?"

This website is here to help you keep in touch with us as we adventure to the UK and commence study at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, and Wycliffe Hall.

We invite you to stay in touch by subscribing to our newsletter, reading Alex's blog, and partnering with us in prayer.

With love,

The Starks*

Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics

The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA) is an autonomous study centre based in Oxford, England. Established in 2005, OCCA brings together leading theologians, apologists and scholars in a centre of excellence. The programme is addended to studies participated in by students at Wycliffe Hall.

Wycliffe Hall

Wycliffe Hall is an evangelical college in the heart of Oxford. The college is committed both to biblical theology and Christian mission, all the while being a constituent part of one of the world’s leading universities. This combination gives them a unique calling: to be advocates of the Christian faith within contemporary University-level debates and to equip the Christian leaders of the future by engaging students in rigorous theological study at the highest possible academic level.

Ravi Zacharias International Ministries exists to reach those who have objections and questions about the Christian faith, and seeks to challenge those who shape the ideas of our culture with the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. RZIM, in partnership with Wycliffe Hall, was instrumental in the developing of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics - training evangelists to articulate the Christian faith in an intelligible and credible way.
